Full time working mum vs Stay at home mum
It is really not easy being a full time working mum... in fact its a crazy life...
A typical work day:
3:00am - Baby cry, wake up to feed
5:30am - Baby cry again, wake up to feed
6:00am - Get ready for work
7:00am - Leave the house, head to MIL's place
7:30am - Drop baby at MIL's place
8:00am - Reach office
12:30pm - Express milk at nursing bay
6:30pm - Leave office
7:00pm - Dinner at coffeeshop
7:30pm - Pick up baby
8:15pm - Reach home, quickly clean, change and play with baby
9:30pm - Feed baby
10:00pm - Shower
10:30pm - Wash baby bottles, pumps and pack things for next day
12:00am - Sleep
Hence, I treat my boss "cuttlefish" and became a "taitai" aka huanglianpo for the time being. The choice between working full time vs stay at home is such a dilemma. As much as I want to spend time to teach and nurture baby, I can't imagine not working for the next 30 years or more... and not having the financial freedom, colleagues and personal time.
